By accessing or using FreeDictate ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.
FreeDictate is an AI-powered clinical documentation tool designed to assist mental health professionals in generating clinical notes and documents from session recordings or transcripts.
You must authenticate using Google Sign-In to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account and any API keys provided to you. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
FreeDictate is intended exclusively for use by licensed therapy and mental health professionals. You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in any way that violates these terms.
FreeDictate generates drafts of clinical documentation. You acknowledge and agree that a licensed clinician must review, verify, and sign all documents generated by the Service before using them in official patient records or submitting them for billing. The Service does not provide medical advice or replace professional clinical judgment.
You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of the Service complies with HIPAA and other applicable healthcare regulations. A Business Associate Agreement (BAA) is available for users on paid plans.
You acknowledge that FreeDictate processes session data (recordings and transcripts) in memory only. This data is not stored on our servers and is immediately discarded after the documentation is generated.
We offer a Free tier and paid subscription plans. By selecting a paid plan, you agree to pay the applicable fees. You may cancel your subscription at any time, subject to the terms of your specific plan.
All intellectual property rights in the Service, including its software, design, and underlying AI technology, are owned by FreeDictate and the Therasoft family. You retain all rights to the patient data and the finalized clinical documentation you create using the drafts provided by the Service.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
In no event shall FreeDictate or the Therasoft family be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, and without notice.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
